In doing this, we aim to prepare students thoroughly for further study, careers, service and life in general.We are currently seeking the services of a dedicated Prep Assistant to commence in January 2025 at our Traralgon campus. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring Christian environment and provide important assistance to the students and teaching staff in delivering high-quality care and Christian education to students requiring support for their specific learning needs.Some key responsibilities will include:Providing a godly example to students and fellow staff members through their practice, manner, relationships and general lifestyleAssisting the teacher with implementation of the daily programProviding general support to the teacher in the classroomSupervising, assisting and supporting studentsReplenishing supplies and assisting with tidying of the classroomModelling the teacher’s example in relation to behaviour managementDeveloping and maintaining an open and friendly rapport with parentsThe successful candidate will have the following:Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of FaithExperience in a similar position (desirable)Well-developed interpersonal and communication skillsCapacity to accept direction, but also to use initiative when appropriateConfidence to supervise, assist and support studentsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team The safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all our students is a high priority.
