In doing this, we aim to prepare students thoroughly for further study, careers, service and life in general.We are currently seeking the services of a dedicated Science Laboratory Technician to commence work at our Pakenham Campus in Term 1 next year.Some key responsibilities will include the following:Setting a godly example to students and fellow staff members through their practice, manner, relationships and general lifestyleAssisting teaching staff with demonstrations of laboratory techniquesMaintaining adequate laboratory supplies for classesUndertaking workplace safety for the Science departmentMaintaining registers in relation to OHS obligationsLiaising with organisation and industries regarding materials and equipment Having obtained relevant experience as a Science Laboratory Technician, the successful candidate will also possess the following important characteristics:Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of FaithQualifications as a Science Laboratory Technician (desirable)Excellent people and communication skillsSound science and technology skillsKnowledge of related regulations and legislationAbility to provide a satisfactory Working with Children checkThe safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all our students is a high priority.
