In doing this, we aim to prepare students thoroughly for further study, careers, service and life in general.We are currently seeking the services of a dedicated Library Assistant to be available to work on a casual basis in the library at our Leongatha campus and/or Traralgon campus. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring Christian environment and provide important assistance to the students and teaching staff in delivering high quality care and Christian education to students.Some key responsibilities will include:providing a godly example to students and fellow staff members through their practice, manner, relationships and general lifestyle;assisting students and teachers with reference enquiries;operating and maintaining library equipment;promoting and fostering the reading engagement of students;maintaining a welcoming and tidy library environment; andundertaking supervision of students during recess, private study and assessments.The successful candidate will have the following:A demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of FaithQualifications or experience in library services (desirable)Well-developed interpersonal and communication skillsGood computer literacy skills The safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all our students is a high priority.
