Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with 1,800 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.
Our mission is to provide excellence in Christ-centred education in partnership with families within a caring Christian community. In doing this, we aim to prepare students thoroughly for further study, careers, service and life in general.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Strings Tutor to provide support to the classroom Music teacher in delivering the Year 2 strings program at our Drouin East campus, commencing in January next year.
In addition, there may be an opportunity to provide individual and/or group tutoring to students participating in the instrumental music program at our Drouin and/or Drouin East campuses.
Having obtained relevant qualifications and experience as an instrumental music tutor, the successful candidate will also possess the following important characteristics:
- Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith
- Ability to provide a godly example to students and fellow staff members through their teaching practice, manner, relationships and general lifestyle
- Ability to offer flexible teaching methods to suit individual student needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to create a charismatic and enjoyable teaching environment for students
